Red, White, & Blue...Happy 4th of July!

I LOVE holidays, and the 4th of July is one of my favorites.  There's something about a fun summer holiday!  It is always a holiday that we spend with all of our close friends and have since I was a little girl.  I think that makes it even more special and fun, especially now that we can share the fun with our kids!
This year we started our day at a breakfast with all of our neighbors.  Chris & Leslie were so nice to have everyone down.  They built a new pool this year so they offered their home.  We thought it was going to rain out all the pool fun, but the rain did stop and the kids were out there as soon as it did.  They braved some cool water temps for sure!  Bryce wasn't going to be left out, he loves the water!  He was so cute splashing around.  Kelly would sit him on the side of the pool and he would shake his arms and legs until he splashed right into the water.  He did that over and over!  We even got a new neighborhood picture.  We had not taken one in a few years so we needed one.  We are very thankful to have such sweet neighbors!

He does have a serious face!

The neighborhood kids!

Gillespie Estates!
That afternoon we had a family cookout on the lake with my mom's side of the family.  We don't get to see this side of the family as often as we would like so we were happy to get to have a little family time with them.  Unfortunately I didn't take a single picture but that's ok!  We enjoyed ourselves!
We left there and headed to the Burton's where we always spend our 4th!  This is with all of our close friends so needless to say we LOVE it and have a blast every year.  The kids were excited to be with their friends and to swim some more.  We always have lots of laughs, good food, and end the night with an awesome fireworks show!  Brad & Westley never disappoint!  Bryce was a little unsure of the loud noise so he couldn't watch the entire show.  Suzy was glad to take him inside.  I know he will love it one day though!  It was an awesome way to end our day and to spend this fun holiday!
Bryce and all the ladies!  He's a stud!

Cohen loved trying out the 4th of July cupcakes we made!

Both girls loved doing the sparklers.  Cohen felt like she was twirling a fire baton!
