Happy Halloween 2020

Halloween is always one of our favorite holidays.  This year we were actually supposed to be spending Halloween in Disney so that was a downer to not be there, but we did make the most of being home.  When Disney is canceled, Georgia/Florida is canceled you have still have some kind of fun right?! It just so happened that Halloween fell on the weekend this year too so that helped.  On Friday we got together with some of our closest friends for our annual Halloween party.  Shawn and Nat have always had such a fun get together and this year they sold their house.  They decided they weren't going to let that stop the party and had everyone to the cabin.  We had a fun time with everyone!  Kelly and I had decided to wear Tiger King costumes with our little tiger Ellington!

In case anyone wanted to mistake Ellington for a Clemson tiger we made sure to make a "Dawgs on top" picture!

These 2 made us laugh

2 cute hippies-these two always have fun with their Halloween costumes

On Saturday which was Halloween we went to Sara's house to eat and then trick-or-treat.  We always walk around her street, but this year Kate had requested that we also get in the car and go drive to other houses too.  I think this girl was out for lots of candy!  Ellington got to wear her pig costume which was so cute!

Sunday night we finished off a fun Halloween weekend with our fall festival at church.  This is always so much fun and this year was no different.  Cohen was dead set on winning in the cake walk, and she did!  She ended up with Suzy's bread and she was thrilled.  Bryce enjoyed the inflatables!  He stayed on the big slide for probably an hour then headed to the obstacle course.  That is also where Kate spent a lot of her time.   They all had a ball!  They were having so much fun that they forgot to do the hayride so when the festival was over they caught a ride on the trailer back to Jeremy and Stacey's house.  It may have been a different route but they got a hayride in!  They also racked up on more candy at trunk-or-treat.  I think we may have sugar highs for the next 2 months.

Ellington could have picked up ducks all night!

Sharing that bread with her friends!

These boys bounced all down this slide probably 100 times

Sweet Ellington and Mallory.  Ellington got her pig costume from Mallory!

Had to get a pic with Evan! the future POTUS!

Can't leave out the fun that went on before Halloween.  Bryce got to have some Halloween fun at school with his kindergarten class.  I'm so sad to not be able to come in and go to his parties and have the fun at school with him that I got to have with the girls.  It breaks my heart but I am forever thankful for sweet teachers who send pictures of everything and Mrs. Oliver does that!  I love getting them and seeing a little peek into their Halloween fun.

Bryce also had a fun "at school" field trip a week before Halloween.  Since they couldn't go to a pumpkin patch this team got creative and brought the pumpkin patch to the school.  LES Kindergarten is awesome!  I am so so thankful these teachers got together to make some fun for these kids.  They may not fully know what they're missing out on with this crazy Covid year and I'm so glad these teachers are doing all they can to give them the same kindergarten fun that a normal year would hold.

Cohen also had a little pre-Halloween fun.  Grace came home from UGA and was so sweet to take Cohen, Keyes, and Easton to a haunted house.  She had been asking to go to one so I loved that Grace took them and I loved hearing all about it when she got back.  I had to laugh listening to her.  I always loved haunted houses!

And last...we had to squeeze in a visit to see the scarecrows.  When soccer and baseball ended that freed up a night we could go!

So much fall/Halloween fun!  Its one of our favorite times of the year and getting all the fall stuff in is always so much fun!

Happy Halloween!!!
