Happy Birthday Cohen! Officially a Teenager!

It is official, I now have a teenager! I can't believe our little Coco is now 13! We are truly so proud of the girl she has grown into and I know God has big plans for this girl. She is so smart, funny, loves God, her famiy, and her friends! She is an incredible baton twirler! And then she is of course a typical teenager-moody at times, talks back, always wants the last word and may argue with the wall. She can aggrevate her siblings and lets not forget can be a bit dramatic at times. A typical teenage girl I guess?! She keeps us on our toes, but makes life fun too. We are forever grateful to God for the gift of Cohen. She made my dreams come true and made me a Mom! To celebrate her big birthday Cohen wanted to have a glow in the dark party. In order to try to make that happen especially in the world of Covid we had to put our heads together. The one place I could think of that might have some good black lights was the skating rink so that is what we did! I'm so glad we did because they had the best time. The kids all skated, danced, laughed and then painted themselves with glow in the dark paint. I keep saying my birthday party days are coming to an end with her but I do enjoy it. I am beyond thankful for her group of friends. They are truly a great group! A huge thank you to each one who made her day so much fun!
On Cohen's actual birthday she was doing what she loves-competing at a baton competition. Her team competed the night before and won first place and she competed in individuals on Saturday. She had a great day coming in 2nd overall in her title. Her hardwork is definitely showing and we are still hoping to get back to normal as far as baton competitions go. With her season being canceled last year she is ready to get back at it. We continued to celebrate her the day after her birthday at Sug and Pop's. I would have to say she had a great 13th birthday. Now just pray for Kelly and I over the next 7 years! Happy Birthday Cohen!
