A Fall Catch Up

We have continued our fall fun going here and there and keeping up with the kids.  Kate has been very busy with soccer and then the big event for her came on September 27 when she was baptized at our church cook out.  We were so proud of her decision, the best decision of her life!  It was special too that she had her Pop baptize her.  She had to bear with a little bit colder of water but it was worth it for sure.  And we got the baptism in just in time because the rain came very quick, and it poured down!

Kate also just finished up her fall soccer season  this week.  What a great season they had!  These kids worked so hard and did so well.  I love watching her on that field.  It was a fun group of kids and I think the coaches had the most fun together.

Another big deal for us was the start of UGA football season!!  Finally!  We have been waiting for this for months now and we were so excited to see it start.  The first game was an away game so we got to enjoy watching it with our friends.  The second game was a home game against Auburn and we had tickets!!  It felt so good to be back in Sanford Stadium cheering on the Dawgs!  It was different, our seats weren't the same, but we had a blast and a Dawg win is always fun.

When your all the way at the top!!

We had a sweet little addition to our family on October 2!  My nephew Devin became a Daddy to sweet Jaxtyn!  We could not wait to meet him and give him all the snuggles.  You can see those proud big cousins were over the moon to hold a baby.  Our Ellington looked like a giant compared to him!

And a big big deal for us in October is our Bryce turned 6!  I could cry typing that because it just doesn't seem possible.  He's my little buddy and just everything I could have ever dreamed of in a boy.  I'll share more on a different post about his birthday fun.  We actually left on a fun vacation on his birthday so he's been able to drag out the celebrating a little bit.  Which we are all fine with because he is so easy to celebrate.  He finished his final T-Ball season this Monday.  I know he had such a fun time and we love watching him.  T-Ball is just so cute to watch.  We were so proud of how well he did.  He loves to come to us after the games and tell us the "score" and who "won", which you know in t-ball they don't even keep score.  But in his mind he would have a score and it would usually be his team winning of course and he would give a score of 4-2 or 3-1.  Who knows where he got it all but he loved it and so did we.

walking to his last game...his last playing t-ball

caught him being funny to the kid on first base and putting his glove on his head

2 cute little Phillies!

A couple of weeks ago Cohen finished up her tennis season.  She had another fun year with it, and finished the year strong.  She has improved so much and I can't say enough how proud we've been of her for trying another sport and getting out there.  At their first region playoff match she played one of her best and most intense matches.  They went 8-8 then had a final tie-breaker where Cohen came out the winner.  I know as nerve wrecking as it was for her she was proud of herself.  I hope she will continue to play.  She has made some great friends through tennis too and that's what its all about!

winners against Banks Co!

That smile said it all!

Its so fun to see how they all cheer each other on

And last but not least is our sweet baby Ellington!  Into everything...feisty as can be...and cute as a button! Did I mention maybe a tiny bit spoiled?  She is 14 months old and is living her best life for sure.   I enjoy having her home with me so much.  Just a reminder that God knew we needed her.

Happy Fall everybody!
