Ellington 4 Months

Our sweet E has turned 4 months old and has been a busy busy girl!  This month was a lot of firsts for her.  Her sweet little personality is starting to show.  She is the sweetest baby with a tad bit of feisty in her.  She will definitely let you know when she's mad.
This month has been full of firsts and full of excitement.  Christmas events always make it extra busy but we had to soak in her first Christmas!

Of course we had to visit with Santa!  She seemed to like Santa ok but did start to show him her little fussy face.

She's really good at napping and like all the others I love to take sweet sleeping pictures of her.  Daddy also took a picture of both of us napping together.

This month we also introduced her to the Bumbo seat.  She was finally strong enough to sit there and since she is a very nosy baby girl she loved being up and able to see all around her.  I even have to take the seat with me to Pilates because she will get fussy and want to sit up.

We had a lunch date with Kate and Elleigh.  I'm going to have all these pictures through the year of them with Ellington at our lunch dates.  I'm hoping these girls don't grow as fast as she is!

Since it was Christmas we got in lots of holiday wear!  I love it and her cuteness in it makes me love it more!

We all went to Cohen's Christmas show at Carolina Superstars and I snapped this real quick before it started...She definitely has Daddy wrapped around her little finger.

And we of course can't forget her first Christmas presents.  We had alot of fun with family throughout the month.  She was enjoying herself!

We did go see Dr. Setia this month for her 4 month check up.  She was weighing in at 13 lbs 11 oz (33 percentile) and was 24.5 inches long (42 percentile).  Our little girl is growing!!  This month she has rolled from her stomach to her back.  She has tried her first foods and some water in a cup.  She still prefers her milk most of all though.  She has been sleeping through the night for a little bit now but over the last week or so she has started waking up again once during the night.  Normally she will eat and go right back to sleep.  She still loves to be held and wants lots of attention. And also likes to be held facing out so she can see everybody and everything.   She loves stroller rides and being outside.  Her brother and sisters still love her so and want to hold her and play with her constantly. We are all so in love with our sweet E.  She is the most perfect gift for us this year.   Happy 4 months Ellington!!

November Recap

November was another busy, fun-filled month for us.  Fall is always full of fun and keeps us on the go.  We love it though and making memories is what its all about, right?!
To start the month Kate had a field trip.  The 2nd grade went to Washington Farms.  This was our first time visiting there.  It was very similar to Denver Downs, just a little smaller.  She had fun with her friends.

Ellington's 2nd field trip.  She's such a trooper

Bryce had some Superhero fun at school.  It was letter S week so what better way to end it than with a superhero day.

November is always full of Georgia football for us.  We got all 3 of the big kids to a game together.  We even made it to the Dawg Walk which they always love.  Bryce was taking it all in as you can see.

The middle school began their basketball season so Cohen has been cheering on her best friend Josi, she even painted a shirt (very quickly) to support Josi and Keely at their first game.  I love how she supports them, but juts wish she would decide to do it maybe a day or so before so she could plan better.  My spontaneous child!

Our high school's anchor club had a Superhero day in November.  I just knew Bryce would love this. Little did I know that he was going to have a full out, never before have I seen him act like this, meltdown when someone else came dressed as Spiderman too.   I thought I was going to lose all my cool on him right there.  After about an hour he decided to quit acting like a little turd and started to have fun.   Sometimes kids just really test you don't they?!

All Happy when the event was starting

Having a moment...
Anddddd he's back to himself again, only took an entire hour

Later that day we got together with our friends to watch the Ga/Auburn game.  Games are much more fun with friends, and more fun when we win!

Towards the end of the month we started having some Christmas activities too.  With Thanksgiving being later this year some Christmas events had to get a jump on it.  Kate and Bryce sang at the hospital tree lighting with the children's choir.  We normally are at the cabin when they do this and don't get to go so we were pretty excited that this year we were here to participate.  Ellington had a front row seat in Suzy's lap.

UGA vs Texas A&M...Matchy Matchy...I see a lot of this in our future!

Daddy went to the Georgia/Georgia Tech game this year with some buddies while we held it down at home.   Since he was gone all day we decided to take a trip to Chick-Fil-A before the game and then settle in to watch the Dawgs win!  We also had to recreate the picture I took of the kids on the first game of the season.  Ellington was just a few weeks old and fit into the football helmet, now she's grown a tad!

November you were good to us!!  Can't believe we are now in our last month of 2019!!
