5th Grade Wax Museum

The 5th grade at LES puts on a wax museum each year.  This is something the entire grade participates in.   This year Cohen was Marilyn Monroe for the wax museum.  When she told me who she was weeks ahead of time, I was so excited.  I knew we could really have fun with this costume and we did.  Cohen was a little hesitant when we got her ready that day, she was a little unsure of the whole wig, but it was so cute on her and I thought it really helped make the whole costume.  All of the kids did such a great job that night and you could see how much work they had put into it.  I loved it!

Cohen & Keyes...aka Marilyn Monroe and Chipper Jones

These 2 once were Mary & Joseph together...Now its Donald Trump & Marilyn Monroe.  Polar opposites!

For the wax museum each child has a cup beside them and once someone puts money in their cup they come to life talking about their character.  Cohen did great!  Pop and Sug had worked hard making her a clap board to be her prop and it was so fitting for her!

Kate loved going around the school and putting money in cups.  She was mesmerized for sure!

October Recap

I know its well into November but I had a few pictures from October that I wanted to be sure I had and they really didn't  fall under one particular post, sooooo I'll do a sum up of the month!  October is one of those months that so much goes on through out the month.  It is full of so much fun!

To start our month off, both girls were named Student of the Month in their class.  WE were so  proud of them both and I realized this is the last time this could ever happen.  Made me a little sad.  We are definitely proud of them though.

At the beginning of the month Kate wrapped up her soccer season and so did Bryce.  Kate continues to love the sport so much and Bryce, well we will see.  He did have a fun time playing and he was so excited to get a trophy!  Kate had an awesome year.  We love our soccer players!
These 2 were a cute little dynamic duo

and they had awesome coaches too!

Bryce and Coach Jen

In October we packed in as much fall fun as we could and one of those things was going to Hartwell to see all the scarecrows.  Bryce loved scarecrows and he loved seeing how they were all dressed up different.

He told Suzy this scarecrow looked like her!

Bryce said this scarecrow was Denny.  We got a good laugh out of that
We always end our October with a fun trip to the Georgia/Florida game.  This year we took Cohen with us...her very first Ga/Fla game!  She was real excited because she would be getting to be with her BFF Josie too.  These girls even changed to be dressed alike for the ride down.

Unfortunately Cohen got sick the first night we were there and since they were at the camper on Thursday night I wasn't there with her.  It was pretty short lived thank goodness and when we met back up Friday night she was feeling better.

Our big FC gang
Saturday is always an early morning.  We leave Amelia Island and head to Jacksonville for a fun day of tailgating!

Look who else had their first GA/Fla game!!  Sweet Carter!

It's great to be a Bulldawg!  And great raising one to love it like we do!

The ping pong boys!

Love my Georgia girl!

Nothing beats celebrating a win over the Gators!  It also makes our drive home much better!  We always love stopping at the Coleman House for a good Sunday lunch!  I also love getting pictures in front of the house because we took one of cohen here when she was just teeny tiny!  So now we take one each time we are traveling through and I love comparing them.

always being silly

The Haley gang

And while we were spending our weekend cheering on the Dawgs Kate was having a lot of fun at home with Sug and Pop and with Bentley!  I have to thank our family and good friends for always making it fun for the kiddos staying home.   Kate got to camp with Bentley and they had a ball trick or treating at the campground.  I think these 2 have a ball no matter what they are doing!

When we got home we started with all the Halloween festivities that I've already wrote about.  As you can see it was such a fun month!!  Always one of my favorites!
