Summer Fun Part 1

It makes me so sad to even type this but summer is over halfway gone!  When July comes it seems to fly by even quicker!  We have loved our summer days and nights.   Everything is so carefree and I could really get used to it.  This summer because I've been so pregnant, we haven't been able to do some things we normally do in the summer like water parks or Six Flags, but we have still had fun.  The kids made a list at the beginning of the summer of some things they wanted to do and we have checked them off!  Some were just sleepovers with friends and some were activities.  I love all the time with my babes and will continue to make the most for the rest of the summer.   Soaking in our last days as a family of 5.
Here's a little glimpse at some of our summer fun:

Movies are a summer must!

Cohen had fun at VBS with her friend Ada

Even though its summer, Bryce still insists on going to the cattle barn.  We even had Carolina one Tuesday and got to introduce her to the fun.

Kelly and I celebrated 14 years in June!  Time has flown by but doesn't time fly when your having fun!?  We are sure having fun!

Both girls attended tennis camp in June and loved it.  Cohen did very well!  She had to leave for baton before this big group picture but Kate was there.

Kelly finally broke down and bought himself a truck.  He has been looking for a while and with the baby coming we needed more room.  He did keep his car but the kids have loved Daddy's new truck and the girls want to argue on who can sit in the front with us when we are all together.

On Father's Day the kids had their annual picture with Pop on the slide.  As you can see Bryce was a little mad that he had to be at the top.  He doesn't get that they go by age.  I can't help but laugh when I see this though.

More Father's Day fun in the pool.  We have spent lots of hours in the pool.   I don't have pictures of all the pool playdates but we love those!

Can't forget our favorite dog when we go shopping

We have made it out on the lake too!   We love going out with the Harbin's.  The girls loved tubing and Bryce did too.  We did get a kick out of him constantly saying not to go fast.  What was funny was how he didn't seem to mind going fast on the tube, it was when he was in the boat that he noticed how fast we were going.    We also went to the big rock and let them jump.  Kate and Bryce settled for the smaller rock but Cohen did finally jump off the big rock.

Bryce was so excited to show off his Uga picture for his room!

Pool time with these sillies.  Never a dull moment with these two!

VBS fun!

Had to get one picture of all 3 of them.  This was Cohen's last VBS.
The same week of VBS Kate also attended her first soccer camp.  It was 6 hours each day!  I was so proud of her!  She never complained or anything.  I knew she was completely beat and the first day it showed on her face but after that day she was better and just had the best attitude!  She was one of the youngest there, but had a great time!  I love this girl!

Kate has enjoyed all of her time at Bentley's.  She even went with him when he got a new snake.

Kate also had a fun lake day with her friend Elleigh.

We love Pelican's!

We had our annual 4th of July fun at Freda's house.  The kids always have the best time in the pool.
I also got my picture of my kids before going.  I love the 4th!

these 3 were into watching the magic tricks from America's Got Talent.  I think they thought they could figure out the secret.

On one of our orthodontist visits we made a lunch stop and saw a pay phone booth.   This was like a foreign object to the kids but they did have fun squeezing into the phone booth.

And we can't forget the hard work Cohen has put in this summer with her baton.  Summer is not a time for rest when it comes to baton and she really has fun with her friends over there.   I'm so proud of her and her commitment to getting better.  She and her teammates will be competing at the end of July at the AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro, NC.  Love my Superstar and so thankful for her coaches!

They even had a pool party at Mrs. Hazel's house!

We've also been making doctor visits throughout the summer.  This was our last one which was last week.  We had our last ultrasound and so we had the whole family there.  You can imagine the craziness in the room!

And here we are in July and Cohen just completed her first Middle School auxiliary camp.  She is officially and MS majorette.  I know she is going to love performing with her sweet friends in just a few short weeks!

We still have a lot of summer fun to have but it has been pretty eventful so far!  Right now we are soaking up some sun at the beach, so stay tuned for that fun!  These last few weeks are sure to be packed with fun and then hopefully we will welcome our sweet baby girl!  So much going on!
