Our sweet Kate turned 8! While we were at the beach on Kate's birthday this year we did celebrate her after her birthday. She got to drag out her birthday this year and celebrate the whole month. That is definitely what happens when you have such a busy schedule. One thing about summer birthdays though is you can celebrate during the week! I love it. Kate so far has been our only summer baby (which will end this year) and has always had pool parties. Ever since we built our pool it just made sense for her to have swim parties. The last 2 years Kate has asked for a party at Pump It Up. We had put her off in the past but this year I just couldn't . Since Cohen always has parties away I felt it was only fair for Kate to get to, so Pump It Up it was! Kate was having soccer camp all week but we let her leave a couple of hours early one day. It was also a day I would already be in Athens for a Dr's appointment so it worked out great. She had a great time with some of her friends. They always love all of the inflatables. They also handle all of the details, set up, and clean up and that is just what this pregnant mama needed! A big thank you to everyone who made Kate's day special and fun. She loved it all right down to her snake/spider cake that only Kate would pick out. I love my sweet, reptile loving Kate. She is truly the sweetest, most thoughtful child and she keeps us entertained with all her animal loving activities.
Here are some of the pictures we took of Kate for her birthday. She wanted to take pictures with Roxy too, her leopard gecko! So fitting for Kate and captures her perfectly!
The cutest 8 year old! But really, how is she 8?! |
Loving the wind tunnel |
The reason she wanted a party at Pump It Up...the inflatable chair! |
She's been wearing her Nerf vest everyday since her party! Bentley knows her so well! |
