Last week was also recital week! Cohen had taken voice lessons in the fall but had decided after her voice recital at Christmas that she would rather try piano than continue with voice. Mrs. Emily would still be her teacher. She started piano with her in January and so far has really enjoyed it. She got a keyboard for her birthday so she could practice. Her first piano recital was last Tuesday. She played 2 songs, Frere Jacques, and BINGO. On the Bingo song she has started playing with 2 hands! She was most nervous about it since it was the harder song of the two, but she did a great job. We were very proud of all that she had learned.
