Family Vacay 2021

We had a week full of fun and family to kick off June. We went back to our favorite spot, Amelia Island. I love it there so much. I can't think of a better place to rest and relax. We had a lot of beach and pool time, ate a lot of good food at our favorite restaurants, and really enjoyed some time with our families. Some of the highlights of the week was Kate got to finish opening birthday gifts and got the saltwater fishing rod she had wanted. She was able to put that to good use in the mornings when she would fish with her Uncle Davis. She even caught a shark! She was so excited! This girl loves fishing. Ellington loved the ocean and was ready to splash right in! We dug "pools" for her, buried her in the sand, just played in the sand. Each day she would be covered in sand head to toe. We of course played putt putt and I'm proud to say that I got the win in our group much to the Hub's dismay. I have to brag every chance I get with him. The kids loved trying out the new putt putt place downtown! Kelly and I have spent several anniversaries in Amelia Island and this year was another one of those. Year 16! We ate at our favorite, The Salty Pelican and got to watch a beautiful sunset over the water. They're hard to beat! We had seen one the night before with the kids and of course had a photo opp there. We are never shy for pictures!
